I had the opportunity to meet up with a close friend last year that I hadn’t seen in 36 years. Only 900 miles away from me, I took it for granted that I could visit with him any time. Well, he is now moving to New Zealand and seeing him face to face is no longer a 13 hour trip. It’s planning a long plane ride and much more expense.
It is the common thinking isn’t it, “I have tomorrow, I will do it soon”. Life never seems to care much about our intentions, it seems to latch on to our actions. I am suggesting today to take the action that scares you, that ignites the life in you, that makes you shake in your boots, that makes your palm sweat because one day your body won’t do any of those functions and it will be all the things we could have done but didn’t do that will haunt us.
