I recently booked a hotel room in New Mexico and when I hung up the phone I remembered when I was a front desk clerk in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
I loved my job, especially talking with the customers. I would be so curious as to why they were traveling to Cd’A, what they were going to do, where they were from, what they did in their hometown, and I would always look closely to see if they were happy.
I realized today that my curiosity was all about this deep longing inside of myself trying to figure out what I wanted. What are these people doing to be happy and fully living, or at least it looks like they are fully living. What was I missing, how could I do what they did to be happy and fulfilled. I would take in the information as if I would be tested on it, studying their attitudes, their behavior, their interactions with others, just trying to get a piece of what I thought they had and I lacked.
After studying Transformational Life Coaching, and these invisible laws that govern our visible world…
I finally figured out that the answers were always inside of me. They were never “out there.”
It has been a long road to gain the awareness. I am eternally grateful for every lesson that came my way and every teaching obstacle on my path. I would not trade this awareness and knowledge for anything. And knowing how to navigate from where I was to where I want to be is priceless and available to all of us, not just a select lucky few. How great is that!!
